So I decided to start reading the manga tonight right after I finished the live action. I'm already enjoying the manga a lot, I love how it has a but more cutesy style than the anime. I recently read this manga by happenstance, hearing about it from a recent recommendation list that mostly contained new titles, so it was strange that this older book made the list despite its age. This is hands down, the most beautiful and creative hand works scene I've seen in anime.
